Despite the general and typical vaguely guilty feeling about not writing anything here for a long time, and a definite accompanying idea that I'm going to write a post any minute now, no seriously - I'm struggling to actually convert this into actual posting (not least of all now, with a typing finger bandaged due to over vigorous Lulu stick-chasing) . I guess there's only so many different ways I can write first paragraphs about not blogging in a long time, and facing that prospect fails to excite. Maybe it's because this has been extremely distracting lately, or that I've been playing a few games a bit, or that the various bits of news I would blog are all by now well known to everyone. Mostly though I think it's a case of writing - just about any writing, replying to emails even - feeling like work at the moment, and work is enough work in itself. Since I started working, spare time, especially that spent doing not much at all, has had its share price go through the roof on my internal stock exchange.

So we'll have to see if this sort of fades away eventually and what occasional post may or may not occur. Here's a first step anyway, so that's a start.

But that's all I got for now.
