This is not the real post; move along

The real post (written in part so far on Monday, and part so far on Tuesday) is partially written and will appear on this page within 24 96 hours of this one, or you all get permission to, er, do something nasty to me. Suggestions in the comments. Already I am thinking my writing every Sunday plan may need reconsideration; I may change it to just making sure I post one reasonable post a week. Granting people permission to do violence to me if I don't succeed seems like a reasonable motivational tool to date.

Said "Sunday" post might have been here sooner but I got distracted by some interesting (to me) cricket statistics. Good news everyone - apparently Hamish Marshall has had a very good season for Gloucestershire just now. Who knew?
