The sight failed to get prettier. Vishnu can bring his (her?) game. In mitigation however I offer the following:
1) Lack of internet availability at Kaiteriteri, and in fact other places where I am;
2) My total lack of inclination to spend my beach holiday in front of a computer screen;
3) Capitalism. In many ways it is a bitch. Here then is another. The evidence mounts.
Besides, the chances of anything actually getting done were always about the same as that of Elvis piloting a UFO into a collision with the head of the Loch Ness Monster (about 7 to 3). But you'll all be pleased to know that the intention is still there.
Torshin spelt weird as 'wierd' again. Sigh. However, Luther spelt 'funny' with 1 'n'.
Annoying as poor proof reading is, neither of these basic errors are so disturbing as Tim running naked through the night. Truly (note the absence of the letter 'e' from this word Tim) he has fallen into the dangerous trap of web journals, which is, of course, sharing too much. Did the world really need to know that a man too large to jump safely out of a plane is exposing his hectares of flesh to any small children and / or easily startled family pets that may be about at odd hours of the night? Wandering urchins and nervous daschunds could be permanently scarred. And how are people such as Dan, Warwick, James and I supposed to walk down the Picton driveway for the next few months without horrifying imagery springing unbidden and unstoppable into our minds, until in short order, we are each driven insane?
Shame, sir. Poor form. Poor form indeed.
I can't get hold of Sara. I hope her parachute opened. Especially because if it didn't that remark will be in terrible taste.
Happy birthday to her though, and bah humbug to Valentine's Day. I believe this marks the 13th year in a row with no card. Were it not were an obviously vision-impaired Canadian girl named Tracey Edmonds-Fergusson in 1989 the record would be 24-0 though, so 'huzzah' for Canada and its emigrating citizens.
This post had better work. The last one didn't. The frequency of the "Ben's post doesn't work" event occurring is such that I am on the point of giving up altogether.
Right then.
