Martin Crowe has just described something as 'whacketty-doo'. Moron. However, we have just played 9 successive test innings without being bowled out, a world record. Suck on that, rest of the world.
Tim, you must tell me what 'ompy' means, that is if you can remain sober long enough to do so, hard though that will be. I was there and have seen the peril. It sounds like the "word that could be": 'lompy', which could be used at Armourguard (i.e "This file is definitely a bit lompy" If you don't know what this means then I am very glad for you. I was once like you.)
You will be happy to know though that I went 'Captain on the bridge' yesterday and the appropriate answer was not forthcoming. Sonofabitch.
In other news, I would just like to say it was quite fascist that the banner was removed, confiscated and probably destroyed. I didn't see any 'don't stick banners here or we'll take them and burn them' signs, nor it seems did the council (or as I like to call them now, the Nazis) seem to make any effort to get hold of us and ask us nicely to remove it. There's not enough simple politeness in the world, damnit. I have decided that in response, I will locate the houses of fascist repute and dine on the entrails of their children (as is only proper). Perhaps a child for each letter of banner. If we run out we can move on to pets.
I now have plans on what to do for New Year's Eve before the event for possibly the first time in history. I nearly had plans for New Year's 1594 AD, but then got sick, so fingers crossed for this time.
Back to work! Joygasm.
